Land Transfer & Succession Planning Workshops

Join RFC and our community partners across the State of Oregon as we present workshops on land transfer. We are pleased to include performances of Map of My Kingdom - the one-woman play commissioned by Practical Farmers of Iowa and written by Iowa’s Poet Laureate, Mary Swander.  It tackles the critical issue of land transition from the perspective of the farm family members, and offers ways to manage conflict and come up with a successful succession plan.  The playwright will then lead a discussion on how to address family disputes during succession planning.

These workshops are free, open to the public and include refreshments and a discussion with a local attorney about estate planning.
